At One Nautical Mile, every item is made to order just for you. Because our products are printed or crafted specifically for each customer, we aren't able to restock or resell most returned items.
That said, if your order doesn't arrive shipshape, our crew is here to help.
⚓ Return & Refund Window
If there's a problem with your order, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
We'll review every request carefully and work toward a fair solution.
⚓ Personalized & Custom Orders
Many of our products are personalized with names, dates, boat names, ports, or custom designs.
Because these items are created specifically for you, personalized and customized products cannot be returned or refunded due to:
- Ordering the wrong size
- Choosing the wrong color
- Spelling mistakes submitted during ordering
- Change of mind
- Ordering the wrong item
- No longer wanting the item
However...
If your personalized item arrives:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Misprinted
- Manufactured incorrectly
- Different from the personalization information you submitted
please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
We'll review each situation on a case-by-case basis and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.
⚓ Standard (Non-Personalized) Products
Non-personalized items may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery, provided they are:
- Unused
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- In their original condition
Please contact us before returning any item so we can provide return instructions.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
⚓ Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives looking like it sailed through rough seas, don't worry—we'll make it right.
Please email us within 30 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product
- Photos of the packaging (if applicable)
This allows us to quickly work with our production partners to resolve the issue.
If your claim is approved, we'll provide a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
⚓ Size & Ordering Responsibility
Please review all size charts, colors, and personalization details carefully before placing your order.
Since every item is produced specifically for you, we cannot offer refunds or replacements for:
- Incorrect size selected
- Incorrect color selected
- Incorrect personalization entered during checkout
- Buyer remorse or change of mind
If you're unsure about sizing before ordering, we're always happy to help.
⚓ Refund Processing
Once your refund has been approved, it will be issued to your original payment method.
Depending on your bank or credit card provider, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the issue resulted from our error.
⚓ Order Cancellations
Because production often begins shortly after an order is placed, cancellations or changes may only be possible for a short period after checkout.
If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible. While we'll do our best to help, we cannot guarantee that an order can be modified once production has started.
